There are a variety of cartridges available for your printing solutions, and each one comes with its own specifications, benefits or risks. Get to know the difference between genuine, remanufactured, or compatible cartridges below.
Genuine" or "OEM" (original equipment manufacturer) cartridges are made by your printer manufacturer and come with your printer.
A "remanufactured" cartridge is a genuine cartridge that has been cleaned, rebuilt, and refilled with ink/toner by a different manufacturer.
A "compatible" cartridge is a brand new printer cartridge built by a different manufacturer that has never been used before.
